Material: Figured Maple, Bronze
An exploration in material preparation, this gavel features highly figured maple in its natural form with a light and warm finish, and boldly colored with electric blue resin stabilization. The design is a riff off of a previous instrument, capturing the flowing, swelling handle and a faceted head. Engraved bronze medalions and a Mokanna set the instrument apart.
